Logistics Team Member II - Orange
The Logistics Team Member II receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products based on internal customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to create a safe work area following all safety rules & procedures; focuses on safety of self
- Support and participate in 5S activities in area.
- Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Sort and store material in a first-in, first-out (FIFO) basis.
- Fill requisition, work order, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to production workers or assembly line.
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves; convey orders to packing station or shipping department.
- Personal desire / value to produce quality work; focus inventory accuracy of your own material movements.
- Mark materials with identifying information.
- Open bales, crates, and other containers.
- Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
- Learn process area according to training plan; adaptable to change assignments.
- Accept and adhere to process changes; making improvement ideas to help department.
- Weigh or count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
- Use computer to enter records.
- Compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
- Contribute to team to meet production goals.
- Work constructively with fellow team members in a diverse environment.
- Drive vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.
- Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments.
- Prepare parcels for mailing.
- Maintain inventory records.
- Safely expedite the transport of hazardous materials and waste, from accumulation sites within strict regulation requirements.
- Inspect, weigh, load, document, transport of hazardous materials and waste through shipping and receiving documents, bill of lading, and manifests.
- Comply with state and federal regulations for handling, storage, disposal, transport etc. of hazardous materials and waste.
- And all other duties as assigned.
Education, Training, and Skills Required:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Intermediate computer skills & Intermediate skills with Microsoft programs.

Available Shift:
- Orange Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday 5:45AM - 6:15PM.
- Blue Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, every other Saturday from 5:45PM - 6:15AM.
Pay Range: $25.50 - $30 per hour (+$3/hour night shift differential).
